Our hotel was the oldest in Cuba and a throwback to an age of opulence. Relaxing in the hotel lobby. Our trip was a cultural exchange of twenty-two US Tango dancers, shown here in front of the Havana Cathedral. Climbing the cathedral bell tower.

View from the top of the bell tower. Exploring the streets of Old Havana. National pride runs high.

Enjoying the good life. Taking a break between dances at a roof-top Milonga.

Callejon de Hamel is an alley dedicated to Afro Cuban culture. Dancing out doors on the Paseo del Prado. Lunch and a visit to the community farm at El Patio de Pelegrin.

Tobacco leaves drying at a tobacco farm. National Opera House from our hotel room balacony.

Che is a beloved revolutionary hero. Staying limber between dances. Trinidad is a five-hundred year old Spanish colonial city. The streets of Cuba are home to a potpourri of vintage cars.

Return Havana

Between dances at a Milonga. Next to the National Opera House is the National Capitol Building. A mozaic of cars as seen from our hotel room balcony. The other view from the balcony.
